Other Pastors’ Groups in Worcester:
There are at least six other pastors’ groups in Worcester led by Barnabas Ministries   http://www.barnabasministriesinc.org/   These groups are called John 17:23 Groups, but they are led by Barnabas Ministries, no relation to John 17:23 Ministries, Massachusetts, except that we are very aware of each others’ work and are good friends

“We have seen a great movement of prayer in Worcester over the last 10 years.  In fact, prior to Covid-19, a group of pastors and Christian leaders were privileged to have a monthly prayer gathering in the mayor’s office at City Hall.  I believe this prayer movement has been a key factor in the unifying of the body of Christ in Worcester and the resurgence of the city itself.”  Pastor Tom Sparling

1) For the active Pastors’ Prayer Groups, and that the Holy Spirit would continue to give them discerment in wisdom about their purpose, and that God would strengthen them for this journey together
2)  For revival in Worcester, and that Christians would commit themselves to being living sacrifices for God, according to Romans 12:1-2
3) For unity of the area Christian churches in prayer, worship, and service to the 205,272 residents of Worcester
4) For all city officials, especially Mayor Joseph M. Petty, Chief of Police Steven M. Sargent, and the entire Police Department
5) For the Christian churches to stay strong in this season, with a continuing focus to reach their communities with the Gospel
6) For the Body of Christ to pray for the people in Worcester, and that they would turn to God for all their needs
7) That the power and purity of the Gospel being preached would be received and transform the hearts and lives of the people in Worcester
8) For the softening of the hearts of the people in Worcester in response to the Holy Spirit and the Gospel of Jesus Christ
9) That the relationships between the churches and city government and local agencies would be one of mutual support, and that the churches and church members would be a resource and a strengthening force for the city during these difficult times
10) For families, schools, businesses, organizations, and  churches, as they continue to transition out of Covid restrictions, and for those struggling with a lot of fear in these transitions
