1 John 1:1-5
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. 2 The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. 3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our joy complete. 5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

Prayer Points:
1) For revival in New Bedford and that Christians would commit themselves to being living sacrifices for God, according to Romans 12:1-2
2) For strength and unity among area Christian churches in prayer, worship, faithfulness to the Word of God, and in service to the approximately 100,000 residents in New Bedford
3) For the Christian churches to stay strong in this season, with a continuing focus to reach the community with the Gospel
4) For the Body of Christ to pray for the people in New Bedford, and that they would turn to God for all their needs
5) That the power and purity of the Gospel being preached would be received and transform the hearts and lives of the people in New Bedford
6) For the softening of the hearts of the people in New Bedford in response to the Holy Spirit and the Gospel of Jesus Christ
7)  For all city officials, especially Mayor Jonathan F. Mitchell, as he passionately and proudly serves and represents the city, saying that New Bedford is, “The world's most famous whaling era seaport and the number one fishing port in America.  This city is a wonderfully diverse, culturally rich community with a proud present, past and future.”
8) For Chief of Police Paul Oliveira and the entire Police Department.
