Amherst-Northampton area Pastors’ Group / Mission Prayer every Monday night

Prayer Points:

MATT 5:14-16
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

1) For all city officials, especially Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra, Chief of Police Jody D. Kasper, and the entire Police Department
2) For unity of the area Christian churches in prayer, worship, and teaching the Word of God as the serve the approximately 28,600 residents of Northampton
3) Wisdom to engage relationally with the 30,000+ college students in Pioneer Valley, understanding and meeting their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs, and awareness that they are future world-impactors
4) For schools, families, businesses, organizations, and churches as they safely transition out of Covid restrictions, and for those struggling with a lot of fear with these challenges
5) Wisdom for churches as we enter a season of regathering, and not to lose focus on keeping people safe
6) Pastoring people well, sensitive to the isolation they’ve been experiencing and the difficulties of transitions
7) That church members, not only pastors and church leaders, would engage with people in their communities and workplaces
