25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[c]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” 28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

Prayer Points:
1) For revival in Quincy, and that Christians would commit themselves to being living sacrifices for God, according to Romans 12:1-2
2) For strength and unity among area Christian churches in prayer, worship, faithfulness to the Word of God, and in service to the approximately 95,000 Quincy residents 
3) For the Christian churches to stay strong in this season, with a continuing focus to reach the community with the Gospel
4) For the Body of Christ to pray for the people of Quincy, and that they would turn to God for all their needs
5) That the power and purity of the Gospel being preached would be received and transform the hearts and lives of the people in Quincy
6) For the softening of the hearts of the people in Quincy in response to the Holy Spirit and the Gospel of Jesus Christ  
7)  For all city officials, especially Mayor Thomas P. Koch, Chief of Police Paul Keenan, and the entire Police Department
8) For families, schools, businesses, organizations, and  churches, as they live and work together toward safe and healthy neighborhoods, and a thriving town
