Matt 13:44-46
The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.

Prayer Points:
1)  For revival in Brimfield, and that Christians would commit themselves to being living sacrifices for God, according to Romans 12:1-2
2) For strength and unity of the area Christian churches in prayer, worship, faithfulness to the Word of God, and in ministry to the approximately 3,682 residents in Brimfield
3) For the softening of the hearts of the people in Brimfield, in response to the Holy Spirit and the Gospel of Jesus Christ
4) For all city officials, especially the Board of Selectmen, Chief of Police William Beaudry, and the entire Police Department

While we have made many inroads into the community, friendship needs to be more intentional about evangelism and our responsibility to tell others about Jesus. So please pray for me to lead my folks in that and for them to be enthusiastic about it.
Also, we have had a number of people coming in from situations where they were hurt in other churches (not all the same church, a number of them). Pray that we can minister effectively to them, that they would feel God's love and grace in our church, and that they would forgive whatever happened previously and get rid of that baggage.
