Day of Prayer for Beverly: September 18th
City of Beverly website (Essex County): http://www.beverlyma.gov/
Prayer Points:
Ephesians 1:16-19 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
1) For revival in Beverly, and that Christians would commit themselves to being living sacrifices for God, according to Romans 12:1-2
2) For unity of the area Christian churches in prayer, worship, faithfulness to the Word of God, and in service to the approximately 42,132 residents of Beverly
3) For the Christian churches to stay strong in this season, with a continuing focus to reach their communities with the Gospel
4) That the power and purity of the Gospel being preached would be received and transform the hearts and lives of the people in Beverly
5) For the softening of the hearts of the people in Beverly in response to the Holy Spirit and the Gospel of Jesus Christ
6) For all city officials, especially Mayor Michael P. Cahill, Chief of Police John G. LeLacheur, and the entire Police Department
