Prayer Points:

Deuteronomy 6:4-9  Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.   Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.  These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Participating in 10 Days of Prayer with other churches in Allston/Brighton.  “10 Days is a prayer meeting for your whole city. The goal is a season where Jesus Christ is the focus of every heart in your geographical area for 10 entire days!  10 Days 2024 is from October 2-12 beginning the evening of Oct. 2. It’s rooted in the 10 “Days of Awe” between the biblical Feasts of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement.  These feasts prophetically foreshadow the second coming. Therefore, 10 Days is also a time of longing for the return of Jesus Christ. ”

1)  For revival in Allston/Brighton, and that Christians would commit themselves to being living sacrifices for God, according to Romans 12:1-2
2) For strength and unity among area Christian churches in prayer, worship, faithfulness to the Word of God, and in service to the approximately 80,000 Allston / Brighton residents  
3) For the Christian churches to stay strong in this season, with a continuing focus to reach their communities with the Gospel
4) For the Body of Christ to pray for the people in Allston/Brighton, and that they would turn to God for all their needs
5) That the power and purity of the Gospel being preached would be received and transform the hearts and lives of the people in Allston/Brighton
6) For the softening of the hearts of the people in Allston / Brighton in response to the Holy Spirit and the Gospel of Jesus Christ  
7) That the relationships between the churches and city government and local agencies would be one of mutual support, and that the churches and church members would be a resource and a strengthening force for the city during these difficult times
8) For all city officials, especially Governor Maura Healey, Mayor Michelle Wu, Police Commissioner Michael Cox, and the entire Police Department
